Aside from the funds of the SHSG there are many more ways to get financial support for your studies, particularly coverage of your tuition fees. Other than that, also other expenses can be absorbed.

However, it's not always easy to stay on top of all public and private programmes and sponsorships - especially picking the best one for you when not having done so before. A first overview is provided by the University of St. Gallen.

Competence Centre for Study Financing

The competence centre for study financing informs and consults students of the University of St.Gallen on the different possibilities for cost coverage. Additionally, the centre serves as contact for performance scholarships offered by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, the Swiss Study Foundation or the STARR International Foundation Grant Fund. Please find an overview of the offer on the webpage of the University of St.Gallen

Scholarship and Subsidies Database

The University of St.Gallen also offers a scholarship and subsidies database. This platform contains information about organisations and institutions which offer financial study contributions, e.g. for exchange semesters or research projects on doctoral level. Please find further information on the webpage of the scholarship and subsidies database.
